Similar to bark or Upwork The Impact Hive Experts Programme connects service providers directly with clients— whilst eliminating the need to bid or compete for projects. Providers reduce, subsidise, or partially self-fund project costs to help support business owners doing good.

How does it work?

Once a customer has been onboarded and payment has been received, you the service provider will be selected and contacted by the Impact Hive team.

The customer will then be handed over to you to complete the project in a professional manner. Once the project is completed, a review request will be submitted to the customer and payment will be released.

Who is eligible to join the Impact Hive Experts Programme?

Limited spaces are available, and only the best candidates will be selected.

We welcome experienced service providers who have:

  • An active customer pipeline
  • A clear onboarding process
  • A structured project review system
  • Proven prior work and results

All criteria will be vetted before and, in some cases, during our call. Proof of previous work is required, and a short assessment may need to be completed.

Standard Badge – Awarded upon approval.

Enhanced Badge – Awarded to providers who demonstrate a strong customer pipeline and successfully complete a design test prior to onboarding.

Once approved, you will receive an Impact Hive badge to display across your relevant platforms and marketing materials.

How do I join ?

Simply complete the application — no joining fee is required, and monthly payments are not mandatory if you select our donation plan.

With this plan, 10% of the payments will be taken from the client. Alternatively, you can choose our fixed monthly plan at £19.99 per month.

Frequently Asked Question

To save time and reduce administration, we only request your preferred payment details once a project has been successfully secured on your behalf.

For international payments, we currently work with selected platforms (including, but not limited to, Remitly). Other platforms may be considered, but they are not guaranteed.
Please note: any international transfer fees will be charged to you.

Yes. If you do not comply with our terms and conditions, you may be removed immediately, regardless of whether a project is ongoing or completed.
Clients will be informed of your removal where necessary.

No. Only service providers that meet our international approval guidelines can be accepted.

Details of our vetting process are not made public to protect its integrity. We strongly advise being honest during the application process.
If your application is rejected, we may provide limited feedback (time permitting), as we are currently a small team.

You should expect 0–3 clients per month initially. This number may increase as we scale our marketing efforts.

The safest expectation to have is zero clients, especially at the start.
That said, our main service provider previously achieved up to 12 clients per month, with an average of around 6 per month.

A review process will be conducted, and we will act as an independent intermediary between both parties.

If no agreement can be reached, we may recommend a partial refund based on the project stage completed:

  • 25% – Planning, research, and design ideas

  • 25% – Mock-ups and feedback

  • 25% – Implementation and development

  • 25% – Final checks and project launch

Refund examples:

  • If a dispute occurs during the planning and design stage, the client will receive a 75% refund.

  • If a dispute occurs at the final checks stage, only 25% will be refunded.
