Viggle AI closes $26-million CAD Series A to expand AI-powered video generator

Toronto-based generative AI startup Viggle AI has raised nearly $26M CAD ($19M USD) in Series A funding to accelerate the growth of its video creation platform. 

 
Viggle’s app, launched in March 2024, went viral after users started using its AI tech to insert Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker into rapper Lil Yachty’s 2021 Summer Smash entrance, sparking a trending meme format. Viggle’s unique JST-1 tech enables precise, lifelike video creation through text and image prompts.
